Hanuman Prasad (Director of Faculty of Management Studies, MLSU)
He is the Director of the Faculty of Management Studies - FMS Udaipur. He was born in a small town of Uttar Pradesh. Later on, he shifted with his family to Rajasthan, as his father served Indian Railways. He did his schooling at Jai Narayan School of Jodhpur, then did MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. He feels very grateful for his childhood situations as it gave him multiple options to explore. At present, he manages the Academic and Research sector of FMS and is doing well. He feels very positive, works for students, and promotes the mantra of -'' Smiling FMS!”. His entire education went in the Hindi language but he witnessed English medium in his MBA, and stood strong at that time and welcomed those changes. With respect to time, he got used to it. He dedicatedly invested 16 hours in his studies and excelled. Amidst the COVID19 lockdown, he got many innovative ideas to kill the boredom of students and the faculty and yield productive results. So, he managed to conduct many academic activities like 10 webinars, 3 workshops, etc to utilize and enjoy the time. Hanuman loves to smile and likes the company of positive and innovative attitude people. He advises on the academic survival learning attitude too- should know to read minds, good communication, and have research aptitude. He says that leadership comes with education and is evolving in nature. Moreover, the Education foundation always pays off, and experience is the result of education. He loves to travel, visit new places, cook traditional dishes, etc. He considers his father as his role model, as although he was in Railways but paid consistent focus on his education. If he got a chance to go back in the past, then he would not like to bring any change, since he has lived those moments in which very few get a chance to live. His favorite songs are traditional songs out of which -” Dharti dhora ri….” is his most favorite.
